Process — Sampha

At the beginning of February, British musician Sampha released his debut album, Process. Most people would probably recognize Sampha’s voice from his features on Drake’s “The Motion” and “Too Much,” or from SBTRKT’s “Hold On” and “Never Never.” His talent has also been noticed by a number of other great artists like Kanye West, Frank Ocean and Solange. Needless to say, this guy’s got talent.

Process will probably go down as one of my favorite albums of all time. I’ve listened to it at least three times a week for the last month and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. My only wish is that I was listening to it on vinyl. Also be sure to check out his NPR special, “Tiny Desk Concert.”
